Maxwell G. Katsarelas, MAI is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Michigan, License #1205075548 and holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. Max has been active in commercial real estate appraisal for nearly ten years and has served a variety of clients including property owners, developers, investors, law firms, accountants, municipalities, lending institutions, etc.

Max has extensive experience providing commercial real estate valuations and consulting services across Michigan including commercial property appraisals, fair market rent valuations subject to Stark Law, market and feasibility studies, as well as tax appeal and litigation support. Additionally, Max is an IRS Qualified Appraiser with experience completing appraisals for tax purposes such as estate settlements, charitable contributions, gifting, and divorce purposes. He was previously employed as a Director at Integra Realty Resources - Detroit and a staff appraiser at Vertalka & Vertalka, Inc. in Lansing.

Max is a graduate of Michigan State University and lives in Metro-Detroit with his wife and two boys. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going Up North, landscaping, golfing and following Detroit sports teams.
